Harassment takes many forms, which is why it is so important to be able to understand it first, to spot it. It typically looks like unwanted touching, hurtful obscene/sexually-coloured language, or threats. Sometimes people see a situation and mis-label it as teasing, catcalling, or even flirting. That’s why it is important to really think about what you’re experiencing and then speak about it.

Services We Offer
POSH Policy
POSH law mandates that every organization has a
POSH policy in place. This is separate from the organization’s
existing service rules/ byelaws. AHEM helps you formulate and/ or
update your existing POSH policy, to comply with the Indian laws.
POSH Training
For Employees, IC Members and Management – AHEM provides training programs through interactive in-person, virtual modes and/ or e-module, for POSH- related sensitization and awareness. This includes making employees/ trainees aware about their orgainsation’s POSH policy, understanding workplace sexual harassment, the dos and don’ts, prevention and redressal mechanism provided by the organisation, and a general overview of the complaint process.
Training through E-modules/CBT
For the convenience and time-efficiency of organisations where in-person or virtual POSH awareness
trainings are not possible, AHEM offers detailed, interactive and POSH compliant trainings through
E-modules or Computer Based Trainings (CBTs).
Constitution Of Internal Committee
Workplaces with more than 10 employees, are legally mandated to set up an Internal Committee (IC) to deal with sexual harassment complaints. AHEM guides you with the constitution and composition of the IC. We ensure the correct selection of the External Member to the IC, and the right balance between members who are qualified and well versed with the POSH-related issues.
Orientation Of Internal Committee Members
Often times complaints relating to Sexual Harassment at workplace are complex. For carrying out a fair and informed inquiry, the Committee must be trained not only in skill but also capacity. AHEM has devised training modules that cover information relating to the Act, applicable service rules, recent judgements, government notifications, etc., and impart such knowledge, competency and skill, to effectively and confidentially handle complaints.
Providing External Members For Internal Committee
Finding an external member having expertise in POSH-related issues and legal knowledge for conducting inquiry as per law, can be a tough FIND. Our professionals have the right expertise and experience in handling complaints and can aid the Internal Committee in carrying out fair and informed inquiries.
Support in Documentation
Along with being tricky, POSH compliance can be quite confusing and tedious, in terms of
documentation and record keeping. AHEM is there for your organisations, to ensure that the entire
compliance process, including the documentation, is as easy and legally accurate, as possible.
Providing Law Mandated Informational Material
AHEM offers posters as required under law for publicizing names and contact details of your Internal Committee members, recourse available to employees and also disclosing information regarding consequences of sexual harassment.
Certification
AHEM provides certification for employees, management and IC members, to ensure their POSH
compliance, by providing certified proof of their successful participation in the awareness
workshop(s) and the ensuing questionnaire to check their knowledge retention.
Certification is provided to all successful participants whether training in-person, virtual or through
the E-module.
